Terms of Service
1-800 Sera · Last updated October 3, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the 1-800 Sera website and services. By booking or using a 1-800 Sera service, you agree to these Terms and any policies referenced here.
If you don't agree with them, please don't book or use the service.
What 1-800 Sera is
1-800 Sera is a paid, platonic conversation service for adults.
You book a set amount of time to talk with Sera. The conversation may include everyday life, relationships, work, stories, opinions, venting, advice from a personal perspective, or whatever else you and Sera choose to talk about.
1-800 Sera is not therapy, counseling, medical care, legal or financial advice, coaching, an emergency service, or crisis support.
Nothing Sera says should be treated as professional advice. Any decisions you make based on a conversation are your own.
You must be 18 or older
You must be at least 18 years old to book or use 1-800 Sera.
By booking a call, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide when booking is accurate.
Booking and payment
Calls must be booked through the booking methods provided by 1-800 Sera.
Prices, available call lengths, and payment options are shown during the booking process and may change from time to time. The price displayed when you complete your booking is the price that applies to that booking.
Payment is required as part of the booking process unless 1-800 Sera explicitly states otherwise.
Our separate Booking & Cancellation Policy explains cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows, refunds, and what happens if 1-800 Sera needs to change or cancel a booking.
Safety & boundaries
1-800 Sera is strictly platonic.
By using the service, you agree to follow our Safety & Boundaries policy.
Talking about sexual topics is allowed. Sexualizing Sera or directing sexual comments, requests, content, or behavior toward her is not.
Harassment, threats, hate speech, stalking, attempts to obtain private information, or other behavior that makes Sera feel unsafe are also prohibited.
Sera may decline a topic, change the subject, or end a call if a conversation becomes uncomfortable or crosses a personal boundary.
If a call is ended because you violate these boundaries, you may not be entitled to a refund. Serious or repeated violations may result in you being permanently blocked from booking again.
Sera's privacy matters, too
Booking a conversation gives you access to Sera only for the service and time you booked.
It does not give you a right to her personal phone number, private social media accounts, exact location, personal relationships, or other private information.
You may not attempt to locate, contact, follow, or communicate with Sera outside the channels she or 1-800 Sera has intentionally made available for the service.
You also may not attempt to contact people in Sera's private life in order to reach her or obtain information about her.
Recording and sharing calls
1-800 Sera does not record, transcribe, or summarize calls unless we clearly tell you otherwise and obtain any consent required before doing so.
You may not record, screen-record, livestream, reproduce, publish, distribute, or publicly share a call or any portion of a call without Sera's explicit permission.
This is not professional advice
Sera may share opinions, suggestions, personal experiences, or what she would do in a situation. That's part of having a conversation with another human being.
Those conversations are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
You are responsible for your own choices, actions, and decisions before, during, and after a call. 1-800 Sera does not guarantee any particular result or outcome from a conversation.
This is not an emergency or crisis service
1-800 Sera is not equipped to provide emergency intervention or crisis support.
If you are in immediate danger or believe you may hurt yourself or someone else, please contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service in your area instead of relying on 1-800 Sera.
Availability
We try to provide booked calls as scheduled, but availability is not guaranteed indefinitely.
A call may occasionally need to be rescheduled or cancelled because of illness, emergencies, technical problems, internet or phone outages, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If 1-800 Sera needs to cancel or reschedule a booked call, we will handle it according to our Booking & Cancellation Policy.
Technology and third-party services
1-800 Sera may use third-party services to operate the website, process payments, manage bookings, communicate with customers, or provide calls.
Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
We aren't responsible for outages, interruptions, errors, or other problems caused by third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.
Misuse of the service
You may not use 1-800 Sera to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, or harm another person.
- Impersonate another person or provide deliberately false information in order to misuse the service.
- Attempt to obtain private or sensitive information about Sera or anyone else.
- Interfere with, damage, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, booking system, calling systems, or other technology used by 1-800 Sera.
- Use the service for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
- Violate our Safety & Boundaries policy.
We may refuse, suspend, or permanently end access to the service when we reasonably believe someone has violated these Terms or poses a safety or security risk.
Website content
Unless otherwise stated, the 1-800 Sera name, branding, website design, written content, graphics, and other original material on the website belong to 1-800 Sera or are used with permission.
You may view and use the website for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not copy, reproduce, sell, republish, or commercially exploit our original website content without permission.
No guarantees
1-800 Sera is provided on an “as available” basis.
We don't promise that the website or service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every person or situation.
We also don't guarantee that a conversation will solve a problem, change a situation, improve a relationship, produce a particular emotional outcome, or give you the answer you were hoping for.
Sometimes you're just paying to talk to a person. That's the service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 1-800 Sera and its owners will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for a claim relating to a particular paid booking will not exceed the amount you paid for that booking.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Privacy
Your use of 1-800 Sera is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how information may be handled by services involved in operating 1-800 Sera.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes or when necessary for legal, operational, or safety reasons.
When we make changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
If a change materially affects an existing booking or your rights under an agreement you've already entered into, we will provide additional notice when appropriate rather than silently changing the terms of that transaction.
